Best Basics (Plus a Beautiful Ring): Dr. Scholls Booties & More

monochromatic style

Back to basics with this comfy monochromatic ensemble.  I got these super-comfy Dr. Scholls Booties in NYC last month and they’ve quickly become my favorite ‘running around’ boot.  The shaft height is perfect with my jeans and they’re cushy inside just like you’d expect from Dr. Scholls plus they’ve got a great stacked heel for a little extra height!

This is my third pair of Dr. Scholls booties and boots (others here and here)  and they are all so incredibly comfortable.  I’m also wearing a new pair of high-waist skinnies from DSTLD –  a luxe, LA-based denim line that produces the highest quality jeans in an array of fits and washes all at under $100 pair.  My cute tee is by Junk Food, another local LA brand, which I picked up from their Venice store last Saturday during an event featuring vintage-inspired clothing and eyewear from Junk Food and Classic Specs plus bagels flown in from Murray’s Bagels in NYC.
