Settling back in to my slower-paced LA lifestyle after a seriously crazy week and a half in NYC. I brought this fantastic Kora Rae tiger sweatshirt with me to NYFW but it never really saw the light of day due to below-freezing temps and my layers upon layers of coats and sweaters and down. Kora Rae clothing is a beautiful line for women and this particular piece is in honor of the line’s namesake, Kora. Kora Rae is rooted in Branson, Missouri’s National Tiger Sanctuary – where a percentage of all proceeds are donated – and to Kora, a recently rescued and adopted cub sponsored by Kora Rae founder and designer, Rachel Turzer. The pieces in this collection are likened to wearable art as Kora Rae clothing utilizes the finest European silks and leathers with local New York craftsmanship.
I’ve been obsessed with denim lately and these DSTLD high waist skinnies are the newest addition to my growing denim collection ( here’s how I wore my favorite black low-rise skinnies from DSTLD). It’s crazy how happy I am in jeans. I spent most of Fashion Week alternating between two different pairs of black pants (these and these) and now that I’m back home with my jeans I’m wearing them every day and changing once or twice a day into a different pair. I know that this time of year is all about Red Carpet style but I always feel more at home in denim!
