Last night I got completely pampered at a fun event in downtown LA at Salon Eleven. Music, Champagne, appetizers, hand massages and manicures plus hair styling made this a great night. I was able to discuss my hair concerns – mainly my constant quest for big, full hair without the dryness and frizz – with a talented stylist who gave me some wonderful styling tips.

I wore a summer dress that I picked up at one of the 6am alley sales in the LA garment district last winter plus those lace-up heels from last summer that I’ve been wearing so much lately.

This has been a fun, busy week for me of LA events plus starting projects at the new house and still unpacking. I’m looking forward to a quiet weekend at home to catch up on my sleep and start feeling more ‘at home’ here in my new home. I hope you have a lovely summer weekend!
