Eliza J dresses are always so well made that they’ve earned a special place in my heart – and closet – in the category that I like to call ‘Lady Dresses’.  Whenever I need to look somewhat dressed up and maybe a bit modest I always reach for my Eliza J favorites and receive tons of compliments and loads of ‘Where did you find that dress?’.  If you’re a long-time reader you’ll certainly remember plenty of these flattering styles that I’ve posted over the years.

I love that I always order the same size and it fits perfectly every time plus it’s great that they carry many styles in petite and plus.  This hi-lo maxi is a great length for me because it hits right around the ankle (when I’m not holding it up for a picture!) so I can wear it with flats or heels; I’m constantly bugged by maxi dresses that are so long that they need to be worn with a heel or taken up – at 5’7″ I feel that I’m reasonably tall and shouldn’t need to wear a heel with a maxi.
