So excited to be heading out to NYC today for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week! I’ve been working on my travel outfits most of this week and have narrowed it down to lots of separates that are comfortable and will work for long days and varying temperatures. For footwear I’m packing some heels, those new Chanel patent boots plus some ‘running around’ sneakers and sandals including these perfect sandals from NYLA Shoes…
These ‘Mentals‘ sandals are comfy, lightweight and have that edgyness that I love in a sandal which keeps them from looking too girlie. I’m going for a bit of a dark pre-Fall palette this season and focusing mainly on black, white, red and grey to make packing easier. Knowing me, I’m sure I’ll pick up a few new things while I’m out there so I’m packing pretty light to start.
My striped James Perse tee is currently on sale at Nordstrom and will probably be worn a ton over the next week and a half. I tend to find comfy tees like this and then pair them with everything and wear them to bits. I can already tell that this will be one of those.
My bright Nila Anthony clutch was an impulse purchase for me this week and I’m so in love with it that you’ll definitely being seeing a lot of it during my NYFW coverage! I’ll hope you’ll follow along here and also on my Instagram and Twitter accounts. So far, I’ve got 17 shows lined up plus parties and events over the next 10 days and I can’t wait to share them with you!
