About halfway through Fashion Week I got tired of everything I packed and wanted the comfort of jeans. Fortunately I packed these new Rag & Bone ones and after a quick run to the Times Square Forever 21 for a few blouses and this pink jacket I felt comfy but still polished enough for showroom visits and business lunches.
I love clothes shopping when I travel and usually pack pretty light and leave plenty of room in my suitcase for new finds. A few days of back to back shows and 12 hour days had me wishing for a lower-heeled pair of boots and I found these C Wonder booties at the Columbus Circle store and ended up living in them the last few days of my trip. Most of the tops I packed were either dressy or super-casual so this lightweight floral blouse and pink moto jacket were great additions to my travel wardrobe.
My Stella & Dot Avalon tote is another great addition to my wardrobe that I got halfway through my trip and was perfect for busy, long days (including a quick trip to Coney Island) and held everything I needed for my flight home. It has a detachable clutch inside that keeps my wallet, lipstick and smaller items all in one place and makes them easy to find.
I’ve been loving these chic, feminine blouses lately. Paired with high-waist jeans they make a polished, casual outfit that works perfectly for busy days and keeps me feeling appropriately dressed for whatever the day brings. This pretty statement necklace from Kitsch is also a new piece from my trip and I love the girly touch that it adds to my look.
Have you started shopping for Fall boots yet? I came back home from NYC with two new pairs and am still dreaming of more. I think jeans and boots are my perfect combo for Fall and Winter. You can shop my look below by clicking on the images:
