The past few days here in Costa Rica have been so lovely. It always takes me a couple of days to truly unwind and enjoy the relaxed pace of a vacation like this. No traffic, appointments, worrying about parking, etc… My LA life seems to have just melted away and I’m spending my mornings sipping coffee and visiting with friends while planning for dinner and naptime. There’s a nice grocery store not too far away and we’ve been there twice already for provisions plus a local wine store right across from my morning coffee place that has an amazing selection. Last night we had a couple of unexpected dinner guests on the patio:
I can’t believe how brave they were! I haven’t been down to the beach yet but we’ve got a beautiful pool right outside our door.
I’ve been wearing pretty much the same uniform since I got here: sundress, flipflops, straw hat, beach tote and those silver Pandora rings that I’ve been wearing nonstop since Coachella…
My plans for the next few days include time at the beach, taking more pictures of the beautiful birds and flowers and going in to Jaco for some souvenir shopping. I hope you’re having a relaxing weekend xx
