Where have these navy blue boots been all my life? I’ve been a boot lover for as long as I can recall. I remember wishing for a pair of white patent Spice Girl type boots when I was 7 and my mom got them for me; I was a girls’ size 1 at that point and I felt very grown-up in those boots. I seriously have more pairs of black boots than I care to admit plus a good amount of tan, taupe, grey and camel but this is my very first pair of navy blue boots and I love them. I love the slouchiness of them and flat boots are perfect for all of the running around I’m doing these days. Fortunately we’ve had a bit of a warm spell here in LA and I’ve been able to wear this pretty Almost Famous dress:
I wish I would have had this dress for Costa Rica last week. It’s lightweight and it can be dressed up or down easily, plus it can be worn on or off the shoulder and you can adjust the length by how much you pull in the drawstring waist. Not to mention the print, which I’m seriously crushing on, and also makes a great pairing with the navy boots. Almost Famous makes so many cute styles with a great LA vibe, plus they sell online and in stores at Kohl’s, JCPenney, Macy’s and Amazon. My bag is from JustFab and what you probably can’t tell is that I have a big knit sweater stuffed inside; I’m always chilly when I’m in a store or restaurant so I need to carry some sort of sweater or wrap with me at all times and this bag is perfect for toting around all of my necessities.
I hope you’re doing better with your holiday shopping than I am this year; I’ll be doing most of my online shopping today and then tacking the mall to hopefully start making a dent in my list! xoxo
