I went to the Central Coast this weekend for a wine tasting tour of Paso Robles and had a great time! We did The Wine Line ‘hop on-hop off’ shuttle van and it was a great way to visit 5 wineries in one day and not worry about driving. First stop was Shale Oak and it was one of my favorites.
I loved the tasting room decor
I wore AG denim, BCBG MaxAzria sweater and Steve Madden boots but left my jacket back in the car and was freezing all day – I’m spoiled by LA weather…
I got a kick out of this big wine glass at Windward Vineyards! They do exclusively Pinot Noir and we tasted 4 fabulous ones and got to meet the winemaker
Rotta Winery was my absolute favorite! We tasted 11 of their wines and had so much fun there and bought quite a few bottles – we’re all set for upcoming holiday parties. This is my empty glass after a sip of the best Merlot I’ve ever tasted:
Another favorite part of the day was this dog tag c/o Shale Oak. David Bowie’s ‘Rebel Rebel’ is one of my favorite songs so I was thrilled when our server at Shale Oak handed this to me on our way out
Here’s the sunset at Windward Vineyards – a perfect ending to our fun day:
