It’s that time of year again when my thoughts turn to Fall and all of the wonderful styles that I love. Sweaters, trousers, boots and coats – oh, my! These new, not-so-basic, basics from Banana Republic are the perfect transitional pieces to bridge the gap between the seasons. I’m always in awe of how just the right jacket can add a touch of class to any outfit and this new canvas trench is a winner!
I’m loving the slim, yet relaxed, cropped fit of Banana Republic’s Avery pants. You know what a fan I am of the Ryan pant (seen here, here and here) but these Avery pants may have stolen my heart away. This cropped length is just perfect for showing off my favorite heels and will also look cute with flats or even sneakers.
Just like the Ryan pants, these Avery pants sit at just the right spot between my waist and hip. I may need to add another pair or two to my Fall must-haves.
Speaking of Fall, this year I’ve decided to bring some new colors to my cool-weather wardrobe and make camel and navy my signature neutrals. I think wine and raspberry would go well with these colors and make for a more interesting palette than my usual black and grey.
