Lululemon hosted 3 days of events during Miami Art Basel at a beautiful modern home. Of all the art I saw during my Art Basel trip, this home inspired me the most. Sometimes modern decor can feel cold and less ‘homey’ than I like but this relaxing space made me want to get to work on my own home decor. In particular; this craft room made me want to turn one of the downstairs bedrooms (one that I’m using as an office right now) in to my own little crafty heaven where I can have fun with glitter, glue, feathers, magazines and sharpies to really tap in to my creativity. This room made me miss those days when my girls were little and we’d sit and color together and make collages for hours at a time.
That beautiful table was perfect for a little tea ceremony and the big wall was a great reminder to be quiet for a little bit each day to reflect and find my voice so that I’m able to ‘Live Loud’. After recharging in this incredible space – including a visit to the kitchen which was set up as a Farmer’s Market where we could help ourselves to fruit and veggies – I headed out the the backyard dock to admire the view.
Dress / Bag / Shoes / Sunglasses
I bought my Superga sneakers early that morning at a shop in South Beach Miami because I packed all of the wrong shoes for Art Basel; I had no idea I’d be walking so much and when I checked my iPhone activity app I found that I averaged 5 miles each day of my trip. These sneakers were so comfy and really saved my feet.
I think I’m just about caught up with my Art Basel photos and am excited to share a special giveaway with you tomorrow in partnership with InStyler! Stay tuned for more… xo
