Still dreaming about my dreamy cruise on the Crystal Symphony! Surprisingly, or maybe not, my favorite stop was in my hometown of San Francisco. The beauty of the bay and my first real shot of sunshine after more than a week in Vancouver and Alaska was something I will never forget. I know that San Francisco is a lovely place but this time I saw it from an entirely new vantage point and I’ll never really see the city the same way again. Cruising under the Golden Gate bridge and then docking on Pier 35 was a highlight of cruise.
We were lucky enough to have an overnight in the city and were able to visit The Buena Vista for Irish Coffee! Longtime readers will remember that Juse and I got married there last year. It was such a treat to go back there.
