Another fun day here in Tuscany! One of my favorite things about this trip has been exploring a new historic little town each day. Today we went to Monteriggioni, another walled city that is only 30 minutes from where we’re staying. Our friend’s had set up a cheese and wine tasting for us with Monte Chiaro vineyards and it was amazing. I learned a lot about the wines that come from this region and sampled some the best cheese of my life!
One of the things I love most about Italy is the beauty that is everywhere; it seems like no matter where I turn there are lovely old buildings and beautiful flowers and lots of delicious food. No wonder so many of the good things in life come from Italy. xx
