After nearly a week of back to back shows at Lincoln Center, I needed to take a break and play tourist for a bit. An afternoon spent exploring The Plaza, the big Library on 5th, trying on shoes and getting lost at Bergdorf-Goodman plus a big bowl of matzoh ball soup from the Carnegie Deli was just what the doctor ordered.
From across a crowded reading room at the library I spotted this painting of one of my favorite American authors, Truman Capote. I could spend an entire day getting lost in this beautiful building.
Next up was The Plaza and more specifically, the Eloise gift shop…
The main gift shop was also full of treasures and I wish I could decorate a guest room in a ‘Plaza’ theme.
Bergdorf’s was fabulous and I completely lost track of time wandering the floors and falling in love with shoes.
As much as I love the shows and events, I had an amazing day just taking a break from Fashion Week. Thank you so much for following along! xx
