While I had a ton of work to get done today: unpacking from NYFW, returning emails, the never-ending home remodel, getting my ends trimmed, play time with Elke and a million other things – pretty much all I ended up doing was sitting in the shoe department at Nordstrom and trying on boots. I came back from New York with a pair of ankle boots and a pair of over-the-knee boots, had a cute suede pair from Naughty Monkey waiting for me when I got home and still have great boots from years ago (plus those birthday boots) but STILL I just couldn’t resist the allure of boots, boots and more boots. Between now and Spring I’ll be living in boots of all lengths and heel heights. The Sam Edelman ‘Petty’ boots shown above are the perfect answer to what I’ve been missing in my boot wardrobe and unfortunately they were sold out of my size (I wanted to wear them to dinner tonight) but I was able to find them online in my size so I ordered them and can’t wait for them to arrive.
