Hosting a simple Sunday brunch is one of my favorite ways to savor the last day of the weekend and gear up for the week ahead. I like to keep these get-togethers easy and generally serve whatever I have on hand plus maybe a few additions from a quick trip to Trader Joe’s or my local farmer’s market.
My homemade Frittata Squares are a brunch favorite around here. With all of the construction and moving in and out of the house during the remodel, I realized that I hadn’t made them in quite awhile and searched my website for the recipe – I was tickled to see that I shared it almost exactly 2 years ago this month and it shows the original kitchen plus that awesome 1960’s Bewitched stove that came with the house! You can check out my recipe and see the old stove HERE. I have the stove in storage because it’s too fabulous to ever get rid of and I’m sure I’ll do something with it someday.
In addition to coffee and Champagne, I served up fresh juices from Paleta. Paleta is a farm-to-table meal delivery service that provides designer meal services, cleanses, organic cold-pressed juices, and ‘Power Up’ healthy snacks throughout California, and select areas of Arizona and Nevada, and ships the popular Mind & Body Cleanse, pressed Juice Detoxes, and ‘Power Up’ snacks nationwide. Paleta Pressed Potables boast an array of organic fruits, vegetables, nuts and spices to quench your thirst and liven up any cocktail party or brunch. I served two flavors of Paleta Pressed Potables: Sunshine State Sunrise and Coco Colada Crush and each one was perfection on it’s own and even better mixed with Champagne.
