As part of my prep for next month’s NYFW, I’m pouring over the pictures I shot during February’s shows. The Fall/Winter 2015 collections were stunning this year and some of my favorite looks were from my first show of the season: BCBGMaxAzria. The bohemian vibe was strong at this show with an abundance of patchwork, leathers, lace, embroidery and buttery-soft over-the-knee boots. The layers flowed perfectly without looking bulky and the soft palette of neutrals with cognac, plum and maroon made for a cozy, Fall feel to this collection.
Did you happen to notice the added neck-pieces? These fun pieces created a funnel neck look which was seen across the runways that week. I’m especially loving the modern folkloric feel to these looks and hope to start working some of this cozy, Baltic aesthetic in to my own Fall outfits. I think my number one ‘take away’ from the BCBGMaxAzria F/W 2015 show will be the soft, tall boots.
