Wearing denim on denim today and feeling more comfortable than ever. As much as I love fashion and experimenting with new styles, when it comes right down to it I just feel most comfortable in denim. This top is super-soft and comfy and a new favorite from LA-based Bella Dahl. I recently found out that the denim-on-denim look that we call the ‘Canadian Tuxedo’ is actually called the ‘Texas Tuxedo’ in Canada! Whatever you call it, it adds up to a perfect, laid-back LA look.
I’ve been craving silver and turquoise jewelry lately and was happy to find this vintage belt in a box of belts in the back of my closet. I’m still wearing lots of Pandora jewelry from the Pandora event during Coachella; I’m having so much fun mixing, matching and layering the rings in different ways.
It feels like Summer is whizzing by this year and it’s hard to believe that we’re only a month away from NYFW. I’m just starting to put together my outfits and looking for the perfect transitional Summer-to-Fall pieces to bring with me. Each Fashion Week I vow to myself that I’ll pack lighter than I did last time but it never seems to actually happen so we’ll see how it goes this season…
