Good morning! Here’s a comfy outfit that I wore this weekend to run errands with my boyfriend. We spent some quiet time sitting on the floor at the new house thinking about this past year and how far we’ve come on the remodel and how excited we’ll be to move back in – it looks like we’ll be done in the next month or two. Sunday was our 4 year anniversary of our first date so it was fun to talk about how much our lives have changed since then…
These mid-rise boyfriend jeans were from that fun Cotton On event last month. I’m loving this new crop of mid-rise style boyfriend jeans with just the right amount of a modern ‘mom jeans’ twist to them. My shirt was a thrift store find and reminds me of those shirts that Jerry Seinfeld wore in the 90’s (not quite as fabulous as the famous Puffy Shirt, though) so I wasn’t at all surprised when I read the tag and discovered that it was originally from International Male. It’s funny how this blouse-y style shirt for men was so in during the late 80’s and 90’s and would look so out now.
Jeans: Cotton On / Top: Vintage / Watch: c/o Caravelle / Sunglasses: c/o SPY / Flats: Target (sold out)
My striped flats are on heavy rotation these days; I love black or navy stripes with white so much this time of year. Unfortunately these Target ballerina flats are sold out now but I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite striped shoes from around the web for you to check out below.
I’m heading up to Canada this morning for a few days and I’m so excited. Thank you so much for following along here and on my Instagram. I hope your week is off to a great start! xo
