You know how I love my subscription boxes and this new one from Crate Chef is pretty much the best thing ever. Each box from Crate Chef contains a selection of a chef’s favorite cooking products and kitchen tools, a personal letter from the chef plus some great recipes. It’s like receiving a gourmet gift from a top-name chef delivered right to your door.
January’s box contains Classic Chicharrones from 4505 Meats, Candy Cap Sugar from Wine Forest Wild Foods, that beautiful Meat Tester form Town Cutler, a Cocktail Muddler, Orgreat Cocktail Syrup form BG Reynolds and Classic Seasoning Salt from Omnivore.
The recipes in this month’s box are especially appealing to me and I’m planning on making all three of them to create a deliciously fun dinner this weekend. I’ll start off with a ‘Protestant’s Wheel’ cocktail then make that 4505 Bacon Studded Hot Dog and then finish up with Candy Cap Pumpkin Madelines; sounds like the perfect meal. right?
