I hardly know where to begin with my recap of Friday’s visit to Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verde. Terranea (terra-NAY-a) is a land unto itself, a 102-acre private peninsula paradise, that made me feel like I was far, far away from the hustle and bustle of LA. From the Champagne welcome in lobby to the locally-sourced garden luncheon to the coastal hike, spa time and finally a wine tasting reception to end the day; I still can’t believe that this ocean-side gem is less than an hour away from my home!

Visiting the Terranea Sea Salt Conservatory was a highlight of my tour and only furthered my love/obsession with Sea Salt. After a relaxing visit to the spa, I was refreshed and ready for our Cocktails and Bites reception where I got the chance to sample several different salts!
