Happy Monday! I’m back home from a fun weekend up in Northern California with my boyfriend and his family and the weather was perfect for my favorite Spring dresses. I was able to live in lightweight dresses all weekend and I loved it. By Sunday I was tired of wearing heels and spent the day in those new Sam Edelman’s I ordered last week…
One of the things I love most about this time of year is being able to wear cute, lightweight Spring dresses without having to worry about extra layers or even a jacket. I have quite a few solid white dresses from previous years and this Diane Von Furstenberg one is a favorite. I received this fun yellow polka dot scarf from Fraas and like how the sunshiney color pops with my white dress. Fraas has been making scarves for almost 135 years so I was thrilled when they sent me this perfectly-sized 28 x 76 inch ‘Dottie’ scarf to style for Spring.
I’m also wearing retro round sunglasses from Sunglass Warehouse and a monogram necklace from My Monogram Necklace. The exciting news on the home remodel is that we’ve started painting the interior! The color I chose for the walls is called ‘Precious Pears‘ (with white trim and ceilings) and I was able to see it on the walls for the first time yesterday afternoon and I’m even more in love with the color in real life than I was by just looking at the swatches. I can’t wait to share more pictures of our progress with you later this week!
