As we’re nearing the end of our almost year-long home remodel, the time has come to make a decision on the exterior paint and trim colors. I’ve become completely consumed by these images of black and white houses and thinking that it may be just the thing we need to bring a little of the Art Deco feel that I love to our mid-century modern LA home…
Loving the white flowers and bright greens of this last shot (above) plus the roof color is a pretty close match for our existing roof. How lovely would it be to come home to any one of these glossy black front doors?
I’ve narrowed down the paint chip samples to a few shades of charcoal, black and white – who knew there where so many different tones? – and will be up at the house bright and early tomorrow morning to try them out.
