The Hollywood Bowl Summer Jazz Series is a highlight of the season and something I look forward to all year long. We try to arrive at the bowl a couple of hours early to eat dinner in our box and catch up with friends. Setting a pretty table is always the goal so I watch the sales and pick up cloth napkins and cute plates throughout the year to save for these special nights.
Since the two little pop-up tables in our box seats are an odd size, it’s always a challenge to find tablecloths that fit. Tonight’s table covers were actually tea towels from Pottery Barn that were the perfect size and looked great with the coordinating plates. Pottery Barn makes a similar set of enamel salad plates with lemons that’s on sale now that I might just need to order for future nights at the bowl.
