Yesterday morning I attended a fun event at the Santa Monica Cotton On store on the Third Street Promenade to celebrate the launch of their new basics collection called ‘The One’ …
The One is a seven-style collection of high quality, flattering fit tees that are super-soft and extra comfy. Each style comes in black, white, grey plus a mix of brighter colors and a classic stripe. These cozy tees were designed without any raw edges on the inner seams and feature a heat-seal printed label so there are no woven labels against your skin.
After a yummy breakfast with fresh juices, we were able to meet with the Cotton On corporate team to learn more about this fun Australian brand and I was especially excited to get the chance to speak one-on-one with Cotton On womenswear designer, Leah Summers about her design process and inspiration for these effortlessly cool tees. I also got to spend some time chatting with Aussie style Icon (and the face of The One collection) Laura Bingle:
A highlight of this fun event was styling one of these great tees along with other Cotton On pieces to dress a mannequin which is currently on display at the store. I had a great time shopping and creating an outfit alongside some of my very favorite LA-based bloggers.

I ended up spending my entire morning at Cotton On catching up with blogger friends, nibbling on fruit and baked goodies and trying on a ton of cute things. I came home with a bag filled with denim, tees and a great pair of printed pants that I can’t wait to wear!
