The Delano hotel in South Beach Miami was the perfect destination for an Art Basel brunch with LensCrafters. After a night of party hopping it was heavenly to spend the morning with LensCrafters and enjoy a yummy brunch, learn more about Clarifye digital technology and get a sketch of my eye from renowned artist Jose Vergera.
In addition to all of the chocolate croissants, I had an eye-healthy juice, lemon ricotta pancakes and got to learn more about the latest in eye exams from Doctor Mark Jacquol. I was especially interested in learning more about Clarifye, which is an amazing new way to get a comprehensive eye exam without all of the things that usually scare me about the process; imagine seeing a 3D image of your eye without the hassle of getting them dilated or that ‘puff’ of air that always scares me. I learned a lot of interesting statistics about how many children that are having trouble in school could be helped by a simple eye exam because they may be suffering from nearsightedness. Getting my eyes checked regularly is something that I tend to put off but after listening to Dr. Jacquol and learning about LensCrafters Clarifye digital technology, I’m actually looking forward to an exam to make sure that my eyes are healthy.
Jose Vergera, an amazingly talented artist who is currently studying the masters in Florence, Italy, did an incredible job capturing my eye. Attending this brunch was a highlight of my trip to Miami for Art Basel! xx
