They’re here! I received these boots in the mail last week from the sweethearts at Clarks and I’ve hardly taken them off since. Do you remember that fun event with Clarks and Vogue that I went to during Fashion Week? After a sneak preview of the new Fall styles (plus a few nibbles and champagne) I had the chance to choose my perfect pair, which was no small task considering my love of boots and being overwhelmed with choices and basically wanting them all. I narrowed it down to the ‘Mullin Clove’ boots in Cognac and I’m so glad I did. These boots are unlike any others in my closet and are hands-down the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn.
You can probably tell that this outfit is all about comfort. That snuggly Forever 21 coat, my favorite Rag & Bone jeans plus a past-season Elizabeth and James top make the perfect cozy outfit for my super-comfy Clarks boots. It seems like the moment it turns chilly here in LA all I can think about wearing are soft, cuddly things!

I’m heading up to Northern California this week to spend the holiday with my family and I can hardly wait. My mom is a big fan of Junior’s New York cheesecake so I’ve ordered one to be sent to her house and that’s something that I’m especially excited about. I still haven’t decided if I’ll be hitting up the Black Friday sales this year; last year was a madhouse and I’m considering doing the majority of my holiday shopping online this year to avoid the crowds.
