The Alice and Olivia Spring 2016 collection presentation yesterday at NYFW was set in the scene of an urban inspired desert, complete with sand dunes and succulents. Presentations at NYFW are always enjoyable for me because I’m able to get an up-close look at the designs. I also love being able to study hair, makeup and accessories details at a leisurely pace as opposed to the quick clip of the runway. Speaking of accessories; how amazing are these bags?
Stacey Bendet’s Spring 2016 collection for Alice and Olivia signifies the long awaited return of day time dress-up, where glamorous dresses are paired with cute knee high sandals. Bendet’s color palette this season features poppy red, aqua and shades of chambray denim with soft sand and camel colors.
I’m flying back home to LA today and so looking forward to editing my pictures from this week and reliving all of the shows and events of NYFW.
