Helloooooo! I’m back home from NYFW and frantically packing for my trip to Barcelona and then hopping on a ship for 10 days to explore more of Spain, France and Italy. I wanted to share a few highlights of my past week in NYC and will post more details once things slow down a bit; I’ve got a couple of ‘at sea’ days next week and that’ll be the perfect time to catch up. The first photo here (that’s hot water with lemon and a side car of honey) is meant to set the tone for my Fashion Week recap by letting you know that I was without my voice for the entire trip. I was miserable and had a horrible, scratchy sound coming out of my throat every time I tried to speak. It was awful and I felt so rotten the whole time that I ended up skipping most of my shows and had to rearrange my schedule to just attend the most important events.
The Bollare lounge at the World of McIntosh townhouse was not-to-be-missed and was an amazing event that included tons of my favorite brands and has me pretty much packed and ready for Spain with loads of fabulous clothing, accessories and beauty products. I can’t wait to share more with you…
I popped by the GiGi New York Pop-Up shop in Soho and drooled over their new styles and left with a fabulous passport holder – personalized, of course – from Graphic Image. My fantastic new GiGi ‘Catie’ bag was perfect for Sunday’s lunch with Vogue and Anne Klein to celebrate #WomenWhoDo. Anne Klein has so many exciting things in the works! I was honored to attend this lunch and also meet Anne Klein’s new Creative Director.
Another highlight of my week was the Vogue cocktail party and the beautiful Vince Camuto bag that was delivered to my hotel room for me to carry! I wore a beautiful dress from Rachel Pally that I’m bringing to Europe with me.
The PopSugar Social House was fun and I loved hanging out with my NYC friends, Joel and Vicki:
