Hard to believe I’ve only been here at New York Fashion Week for a few days, each day has been so completely filled with shows and events that my days are starting to blur together. Friday’s Mark and Estel Spring/Summer 2015 show was outstanding and I immediately fell in love with their crush-worthy collection of wearable styles with a rocker edge.
I definitely need to add a flowing black coat to my wardrobe. This look was one of my favorites and ties right in with my current white dress/black shoes obsession.
Mark Tango and Estel Day, the fashion and music duo, launched their fashion brand “Mark and Estel” in Los Angeles in 2005. The duo’s rocker style and love of music launched their band “Mark and Estel” and their fashion/music hybrid became their signature. Made here in the USA, the Mark and Estel fashion line is filled with flowing dresses, signature fashion tees and iconic cut-out leggings alongside ready to wear jackets and separates.
Mark and Estel made fashion and music history in September of 2013 here in New York at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week as the first designers ever to come out performing their songs live on the runway during the finale of their show. I fell in love with Mark and Estel’s designs during this show and fell even deeper after their rockin’ performance on the runway.
