A simple pairing of comfy favorites that I wore yesterday to run around the valley. I’ve worn this skirt before as part of that suit from Express. I love it when I can wear the pieces of a suit as separates and dress them down a bit for more casual wear. Something about the cut of this A-line high waist skirt along with my almost-vintage Stuart Weitzman logo slides reminds me of Cher in Clueless…

This super-soft pima cotton tee is my first and only ‘perforated’ item this season and I love that detail on the raglan sleeves plus I’m a sucker for 100% cotton.
I’m so happy that it’s the weekend; Friday couldn’t come soon enough for me this week. I’ve had tons of catch up after spending last week in Canada and most of this week was devoted to work on the home remodel. We finalized our choices for kitchen appliances yesterday and all of the bedroom and bathroom doors are being hung today. With a little luck we’ll be back in there before Summer is over.
