I can’t get enough of black and white for the upcoming Spring season. I kept things very simple at the resort with easy-going pieces mainly in black and white. Packing was a breeze and everything that I bought new for the trip will work well throughout this Spring and Summer. It’s hard to imagine that in a couple of days I’ll be braving the snow and freezing temps in NYC for New York Fashion Week. For now, here are a few of my favorite shots of one of my favorite outfits from my time in Puerto Vallarta:
Pants: Ella Moss ~ Top: Free People ~ Hat: Eric Javits (similar)~ Shoes: Lucky Brand ~ Sunglasses: ZeroUV ~ Necklace: Wildfox via Lyst ~ Bracelets: Gorjana and Margaret Elizabeth via Rocksbox~ Rings: Tuleste
I love the feeling of wearing flowy, lightweight pieces like these bold striped wide-leg Ella Moss pants and flyaway-back Free People tank. Keeping these relaxed separates in basic black and white gives a warm-weather outfit that chic touch that I crave. My goal this week is to try to dress as chic as possible without freezing while at Fashion Week. I’m not sure how people are brave enough to wear bare legs and pumps or strappy sandals to the shows at Lincoln Center with near-freezing temperatures. I’m going to try to dress up a little more than I did last year when I wore my snow boots to all of the shows! Thanks so much for following along here and on my Instagram at @thecurrentcrush.
