Earlier this week I was invited to a sneak peek preview of Sephora’s exclusive new Beauty Classes. Sephora provided us with car service to and from this fabulous event and started our morning off right with coffee and treats from Le Pain…
Sephora is introducing a new array of beauty classes and in-store makeover services that range from basic techniques to mastery of the hottest trends. Sephora’s Beauty Classes are now available at many North American Sephora stores and are typically held on Sunday mornings. These informative classes offer private group instruction on a variety of techniques in a fun and casual atmosphere before or after store hours. Classes include step-by-step instruction through Skincare Basics, Perfectly Paired Lips & Cheeks, Contouring & Highlighting, how to apply False Lashes or one of five other on-trend topics designed to sharpen your beauty skills.
My class was Contouring & Highlighting and I learned so many new techniques, in addition to something called ‘triangle of light’, that I can’t wait to try out at home. I loved being able to try new products and receive one-on-one help to learn tips and techniques that were right for my face shape plus help in finding the right products for my skin type and tone.
Sephora is also offering a new Mini Makeover service! If you don’t have time for a full class, this is a great opportunity to pop in to any Sephora store for a complimentary 15-minute mini makeover on demand. Each of the nine available services focus on a single feature. Choose from basic techniques like Flawless Foundation + Color IQ or more advanced looks like Polished Brows, Blush + Bronze or Smoky Eye.
After class, you can stay and receive additional personal advice or shop the store with one of their instructors. Class size is limited and free for Beauty Insiders.
