Platform oxfords in the middle of Winter? Yes, please! I’m sure you’ve seen me wearing these Shellys London ‘Emma’ oxfords on my Instagram quite a bit lately and I just found out that they’ve got them in 7 new textures/colors and I’m swooning over them all.
Founded in 1945, Shellys quickly became the go-to destination for cutting edge footwear, with its famous stores emerging as a haven for London’s fashion scene. Throughout the 70s and 80s, Shellys London became synonymous with British subcultural style, introducing Creeper, Platform and Winklepicker silhouettes. Collaborations with designers such as John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier really cemented the brand’s positioning as one of the most pioneering British footwear brands.
