Meet your must-have lipstick for the holiday season! Fashion house and prestige beauty brand, Dolce & Gabbana, recently released a limited edition shade named after their, and my, eternal muse; Sophia Loren. At 81, Sophia is more beautiful than ever, and continues to be an inspiration.
Sophia’s red lipstick has deep pink undertones, making it more subtle than a true red lip. The resulting shade is a sheer cherry that leaves lips moisturized and glossy — a hue that works for all seasons. In typical D&G form, the lipstick is rose scented and comes housed in a gold tube, with Sophia’s signature.
I was unable to track down this beautiful lipstick, which D&G calls a “loving tribute to the Italian beauty icon”, in stores but was lucky enough to find it online at SEPHORA.COM and quickly ordered one for myself and a few extras as holiday gifts! What could be more glam?
