After a quick night at my Mom’s home in San Francisco, we made the drive up here to Ashland, Oregon and I love it already. With only one day and night to spend here, I had to narrow down my list of must-do’s in Ashland and decided that a visit to Lithia Park was a great way to spend the afternoon. I read up on the park’s history and was excited to drink from the Lithia Fountains!
Besides the obvious beauty of the park and the city, I was especially impressed by all of the talented musicians playing on the street. I know that Ashland is famous for it’s Shakespeare Festival but there is so much more to see and do here that I’m planning on spending another night on my way back home next week.
