Obsessed with Pre-Fall 2016 previews and the ‘Power Women’ inspiration behind these collections. Loving the flowing feminine pieces paired with tough-girl Doc Martens as seen above from Milly’s Michelle Smith. Key notes from Milly include oversized sweaters, vests that can be worn as dresses and slouchy trousers.

Rebecca Taylor’s 40’s influenced collection was actually inspired by the book ‘The Nightingale’ which is about the women involved in the French Resistance during WWII. The cropped jeans and white lace-detailed blouse is my current outfit inspiration:
The femininity of these menswear tailored pieces has me looking forward to seeing more of the Pre-Fall 2016 collections and reworking my wardrobe to embrace this ‘Power Woman’ style.
