How do you lip? As you may know, I’m a total skincare and makeup lover, so the Lip Happily event at Ulta Beauty is right up my alley. Lip color is my favorite of all color cosmetics because it has the power to bring instant joy, transform you look and helps tell your story before you even speak a word. At times when I’ve had very little cash to spend on myself I was always amazed at how a few dollars spent on a new lip color could brighten my spirits and change up my day!
This weekend I made a trip to Ulta Beauty to see what new lip products I could find and to learn more about this month’s Lip Happily event. Ulta Beauty truly is the ultimate lip exploration playground; with over 15,000 lip color products from popular and prestige brands brands alike so it’s perfect for any budget. I always have so much fun trying collections of color and finishes, from Urban Decay to Buxom to NYX to Anastasia.
At Ulta Beauty, the playground goes way beyond lipstick. There are glosses, pencils, paints and stains in every shade of on the spectrum, plus primers, scrubs and treatment oils. After spending quite a bit of time with some ‘hands on’ fun, I decided on this Buxom Pout of Paradise mini Full-On Lip Polish Collection:

Ulta Beauty’s thirty day This is How I Lip Challenge is a new contest that encourages beauty fans like you and me to try amazing, new lip looks and challenge your friends to do the same. Go ahead and get inspired by Ulta Beauty’s online Lip Gallery and discover more than 15,000 lip color products to reveal another side of yourself. Each lip look with have it’s own punchy identity and easy-to-follow how-to tutorial. Dare to try them all or create your own lip look and share your look on Instagram and/or Twitter with a “challenge” to your friends to try new lip looks too.
During the 30 Day This is How I Lip Challenge, do the follwoing things for a chance to win more than 30 prizes:
- Snap a picture of your lip look.
- Upload to Twitter and/or Instagram.
- Caption your photo with: #ThisIsHowILip with @UltaBeauty. I challenge @(tag a friend) to show me how you lip! #Contest
- Challenge someone by tagging a friend.
One Grand Prize Winner with be awarded an assortment of 100 lip products (cash value TBD). 30 Daily Prize Winners will receive a selection of some of Ulta Beauty’s favorite lip products. All winners will be announced at the end of the challenge.
