I was about to say that Summer is in full-swing here in LA but I just had the harsh realization that these long, sunny days are drawing to a close and we’ll be faced with shorter days and longer dresses before we know it. I’ve had one of my favorite people in the world staying here with me for a few days and it’s been a blast; Lara from Pretty Connected and I always have so much fun together and this particular day we made quite a pair in our summertime dresses. My grey linen dress is made by Innika Choo and is one of 2 Innika Choo pieces that I brought home from Miami Swim week.

I wore this cute dress from Beyond Proper for a full day of shows and events in Miami and it was just perfect; I had some issues with the strapless bra that I packed (isn’t that always the case?) so I ended up wearing it on-the-shoulder rather than off.
As much as I’m getting excited to for cozy sweaters and boots, I’m trying to live in lightweight dresses and cute sandals right up until the very last days of Summer…
