Remember my musings on faux fur jackets last week? I broke down and bought another one over the weekend but it was basically a steal from Forever 21 so that’s how I’m justifying the purchase. We’re having something of a heat wave here in LA and the days have not only been way too hot for furry jackets but also too hot for these black high-rise jeans and boots, too. I put this outfit together to run out to a quick dinner with my boyfriend at our local Whole Foods wine bar. I’m always freezing in grocery stores so I was able to get away with this look during our heat spell.

Another Forever 21 find that says it all. I’ve been going through a crazy sleep-deprivation cycle since I got back from NYC last month. In other news, I’m still wearing those earrings that I wore every single day in Puerto Vallarta. I’m not much of an earring girl but when I find a pair that looks pretty and are comfy then I wear them non-stop. In college it was a pair of pearl studs which was were in contrast to my Bay Area rocker look but I loved them and they were comfortable.

I’ve been working like mad to get my closet organized for Fall and also for the move. I’m so excited to finally finish up the remodel and settle back in to the new house and especially in to the new closet. I can’t wait to share more pictures of our progress and to hopefully narrow down an actual move-in date over the next few weeks!
