Yes, that’s a swimming pool! I was lucky enough to be invited to one of the swankiest events of the season, the AOO Events Holiday party at the Hollywood Hills home of CEO and Creative Director, David Merrell. I was thrilled to be invited to this fabulous event where I had the chance to mix and mingle with the town’s ‘in’ crowd.
From the moment I entered David Merrell’s stunning home (we had a nice long chat about remodeling and I think his actually took longer than mine!) I knew that I was in for an amazing night. Celebrity Chef Meg Hall of Made by Meg catered this party while Scarlette Bartending provided over-the-top signature drinks including an especially spicy one that I can’t stop thinking about. Professional photography was taken care of by VeroFoto so guests could relax, put their phones away and enjoy the festivities.
I went crazy for the beautiful floral arrangements and fell in love with the cutest little Santa, who was way too busy being adorable to stand still long enough for me to take a non-blurry picture. Or this may have been taken after that spicy jalapeno drink:
As if all of this fabulousness weren’t enough, David Merrell and the AOO Events team made sure we were each sent on our way with one of these beautiful gift boxes filled with surprise goodies. After such a spectacular holiday party that managed to feel both professional plus extremely warm and personal, I now know why David Merrell is known as the King of Event Planning.
