Last week I attended a reception for donors to our local hospital at the LA Zoo. This fun event took place in the new Elephants of Asia Pavilion and featured appetizers, desserts, wine tasting, a string quartet and some of the cutest elephants ever.
When I was younger I wished for my own elephant – mainly so I could polish those big toenails.
Being out at this lovely event on a warm evening made me even more excited for summer here in LA. It’s almost Hollywood Bowl season and I can hardly wait! The Bowl has become one of my favorite summer traditions – each week we bring friends with us and eat a fun meal together in our seats before the show starts. The first show of the season is now officially less than a month away and signifies the start of my summer.
