I’ve gone completely mad for plaid this season and this flannel pencil skirt from Boohoo is one of my new favorite pieces. I decided that red should be my signature color for this season so this skirt is perfect. I’ve started experimenting with different red lipsticks and am trying to incorporate some of this fiery color into my everyday outfits…
It feels so good to be back in tall boots! I’m such a boot lover that I wear them all year round but usually stick to ankle boots or short cowboy boots for the warmer months and save my tall boots for Fall and Winter. I’ve been seeing so many over-the-knee boots on East Coast bloggers that I’m tempted to go try some on and see how they look.

I hope you’re having a great week and starting to wear some of your Fall clothes, too! I’m going to visit my Dad in Arizona this coming weekend and will probably be faced with some pretty warm weather so I’m thinking that this skirt will work well with a cute, short sleeve tee also.
