Talk about pampering! I had my very first visit to a Burke Williams spa this weekend and I’m already planning my next. Now I understand why everyone who visits Burke Williams raves about the experience and services. I was invited to the Burke Williams spa at The Village at Westfield Topanga location here in LA and was thrilled to bring along my NYC blogger friend, Vicky, from Aspiring Socialite.
After a tour of the spa, which reminded me of a Hampton’s beach house, we changed in to robes and slippers and visited the Custom Blend Bar. Working closely with the Alchemist, I was able to choose from over 10,000 aromatherapy and herbal recipes to find my perfect blend. After sampling quite a few oils, we discovered a recipe for “Dance of Joy” a blend of orange, jasmine and bergamot that is said to joyfully inspire creativity.
After the Custom Blend Bar we relaxed with a little bubbly and fruit before heading to the Garden Room for mini-services. My foot massage was incredibly relaxing and the perfect way to spend a little extra time before my appointment at Style, the spa’s professional blow-dry bar. I loved learning more about Shu Uemura’s luxury hair care line and choosing my look from their menu of styles; Vicky and I both decided on the “Pacific Coast Highway’ for those perfect beachy waves.
