I’m back from 3 fun days at Coachella! I’m excited to share my experiences with you – some things were just as I expected them to be and other things were quite different. I’ll start today with the clothes and cover more of the festival scene tomorrow. With all the ‘Coachella Fashion’ build-up, I really expected to see festival-goers dressed in these styles but 99% of the people I saw were dressed like the people in the picture above. I wore maxi dresses the first two days – here’s that gorgeous dress and daisy headband c/o C&C California:
I spent my mornings exploring the area around Coachella and then headed to the festival later in the day. I was shocked at all of the fabulous vintage and thrift shopping in Palm Springs – I found some amazing things that I’ll photograph and share with you later in the week.
We stayed at La Quinta Resort and it was beautiful and had shuttle service back and forth to the festival which made it really convenient for us to get there each day. I would definitely stay there next time. After long, hot days out at Coachella, it was so nice to come back to our comfy room. This was one of my morning outfits that I wore to breakfast and thrift shopping – blouse and skirt are from C&C California (the blouse was in my ‘Survival Kit’ c/0 C&C) and my boots are Steven by Steve Madden.
This was my 3rd day outfit – dress by Free People, hat and shades from Target, Steven by Steve Madden boots and C&C California tote. I wore this in the morning for running around and then changed into a maxi skirt and black tee plus tennies for last night’s shows and the 2-hour drive home.
Tomorrow I’ll share pictures from the shows and the fabulous H&M Lounge!
