Summer came a little early last weekend in Venice at the Sunglass Hut Electrify Your Summer tour. Held at The Brig Lot on Abbott Kinney, this party was the perfect way to kick off my favorite season of all with everything that makes Summer in LA rock: live music (provided by locals Monogem and DJ Whitney Fierce), Chunk N Chip ice cream sandwich truck, Summertime tattoos, a customized tote-making stand plus a pop-up shop with the best shades from Sunglass Hut.
In addition to all of this Summertime fun, the dance floor tiles actually created crowd-powered sun by absorbing the energy from the crowd’s dancing which powered those cool sunburst-looking lights behind the band!
