Faux fur and Fall go together like… honestly, too many things to mention. For starters, high-waist jeans and knee-high boots or cozy cropped jackets and cabbie hats! I’ve really been feeling my retro 70’s vibes lately and pulling out these vintage Dior granny boots and wearing them with everything from mod shift dresses to leather joggers. I wore them yesterday to the Citadel Outlets #PinkSaves fashion show (I was so honored to be chosen as a stylist again this year) and got compliments galore. I’m trying to incorporate more of my retro/vintage favorites in to my outfits lately and it’s really helping me feel more like myself and gives me a renewed sense of what I’m doing in this industry and why I started this site and my Instagram six years ago.
The good news is that nearly everything in this shot is still available online (minus the boots but ebay has some similarly awesome ones) so it’s pretty easy – and affordable – to shop this cozy look. My jacket actually feels more like a sweater when you’re wearing it because it’s soft and stretchy; I bought it in black as well and wore it pretty much the entire time I was in Pennsylvania for Vicky’s wedding.
