Happy first day of Summer! My favorite season is finally here and I couldn’t be happier. This week has been especially busy for me with our move but I’m finally feeling more at home and settled in and especially excited about the start of Summer.
Last night I took a break from all of my unpacking and met up with Jess of From Rain to Shine. Jess is a talented Seattle born and bred graphic designer who now calls LA home. We have many of the same likes – nail polish, dogs, design and gluten free cupcakes – so it made perfect sense that we meet up at Intelligentsia in Venice and get to know each other better.
Jess is sweet and fun and has an amazing eye for design and a love of sunshiney, happy things. It’s so much fun meeting up with LA bloggers and exploring new places; this was my first time at Intelligentsia and I’m looking forward to going back.
Tomorrow is opening night at The Hollywood Bowl and I’m so excited to see Steven Tyler! One of my very favorite things about summer in LA is The Bowl. We always get there early and eat a picnic dinner with friends and enjoy music under the stars and I feel especially lucky to live in such an amazing city.
