Leaving chilly NYC today to fly to Hawaii! This will be my first time visiting ‘The Big Island’ and I can’t wait. I’m traveling home with so many cute new things from showroom visits during Fashion Week and quite a few of them will work for island life but some will need to stay at home. This big, cuddly faux fur from ohpolly.com will need to stay behind but it has been perfect for NYC’s chilly temps! My snazzy new Puma’s were from a fun event at SIX:02 that I went to the day before Fashion Week and I think they’ll be perfect for the long flight to Kona. Those pink reflective sunnies are from Blanc and Eclare and I’m obsessed with the entire collection.
This ASTR The Label top (which is actually a bodysuit!) is so pretty and girly and a bit chilly for NYC but definitely fine for indoors and my big Oh Polly coat has been keeping me warm outside. The crazy thing about NYC in the Winter is that all of the stores, restaurants and offices are really, really warm inside. I’m just learning to dress like I would normally in LA while I’m at NYFW and then just wear a big, super cozy coat over my regular clothes. I used to layer and layer and layer for NY in February and then absolutely ROAST once I stepped inside!
Ragen Jewelry is making the prettiest delicate pieces and this gorgeous sunburst is a new favorite. I’ve worn it non-stop for the past week or so and think it’ll be perfect for Hawaii. I love anything with a sun on it and this necklace is just so ‘me’.
