I’m so in love with the collar on this vintage polka dot blouse!! It looks very 70’s to me and has one of those fabulous old labels inside with the brand ‘Rhonda Lee’ on it. It’s sheer but not too sheer and the sleeve length is perfect – can you tell how thrilled I am with this thrifty find? I also found this Express floral skirt at a local thrift shop and added my Joe Fresh for JC Penney sweater that I bought at that pop-up on Melrose last month. I’m also wearing those Marc Jacobs black and silver butterfly heels.
I had a lot of fun twirling around for pictures in this outfit. My boyfriend did one of those rapid-fire multi-shot things of me and I thought it was so funny that all of the back shots looked like this:
It looks like I’m doing some crazy Charlston dance. This black and white outfit is one of my favorite things I’ve worn lately – I felt very Spring-y and stylish in it. Sometimes I get in a jeans and sweatshirt rut and this was a great cure for me. I’ve been picking up quite a few cute skirts on my thrift shopping trips lately and I’m excited to wear them now that it’s really starting to feel like Spring here.
What do you think about mixing patterns and prints? I’m trying to be more adventurous about it and I think that sticking with black and white was a great way for me to test it out!
